A 38 year old lady, Faith Akon was yesterday arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate court for stealing jewelries of N8.2million,2 hp laptops of N150,000 and a cash of N100,000 belonging to her mistress,Mrs Spiff Stella on 11th Nov. 2012 at No. 20 Bush Street Eregwa Close in Anthony village area of Lagos. The defendant(Faith Okon) pleaded not guilty when the charges which was punishable under section 285(5)(f) of the criminal laws of Lagos was read to her by the prosecutor,Magistrate B.O Osunsanmi at Ikeja Magistrate Court.She was later granted bail in the sum of N200,000,with 2 sureties as the case was adjourned till June 6,2013 for trial.......Nigeria, the land of comedy!
