An American soap actress Jeanne Cooper,who spent 40 years on the Young and the Restless has died at the age of 84. Her son,actor Corbin Benson confirmed she died in her sleep last night,Wednesday 8th May,2013. In 1973,Cooper joined the Young and the Restless as Katherine Chancellor and remained on the show until her death. She received 11 day time Emmy nominations and won the best actress in a drama series award in 2008.Cooper was blessed with three children.
