MY NAME HAS BROUGHT GOODLUCK TO NIGERIANS - Goodluck Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday in Addis Ababa,Ethiopia said that despite the security challenges rocking the country,his name has indeed brought goodluck to Nigerians.Mr president made this known while granting an interview to a Nigerian teenage girl based in Carlifonia,Miss Zuriel Oduwole on the sideline of the on-going 21st ordinary session of the assembly of Head of States and govt of Africa Union holding in Ethiopia.
Oduwole who was said to have interviewed some African leaders is working on a documentary of the union 50 years of existence.
She had sought to know from Jonathan how much Goodluck his first name has brought to the country under his leadership. Jonathan said both religion and traditional socities attached some values to names.And that this is why parents select good names for their children. Yet,he went further to add "but the name in itself does not make much difference because even from my small village,there is one of my peers that also answers Goodluck,another one that is little older than me answers Lucky from my small village,and I didn't see the goodluck and lucky in them". "In terms of bringing my name to bear in Nigerian affairs,within this period,we have our challenges, of-course you are aware that we have security challenges,the country is moving on.I will say yes,it has brought some goodluck to the country". On what legacy he would want to leave behind after his tenure.
