Pastor Jude Chibueze of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria(PFN), and the Umuoji community in Anambra State are presently at each others throat because the pastor killed a snake which he said came into his children's room. But the community is saying the man of God committed a sacrilege by killing a snake belonging to their deity which if not appeased with a sacrifice totalling about N54,890 can lead to the pastor's death together with the members of his family. This led them to the pastor's house where they tortured him, the pastor after receiving the beatings of his life and his church been sealed with palm fronds contacted the Anambra State Police Command which led to the arrest of some village elders. Meanwhile the pastor is threatening to sue the villagers if the police fails to handle the matter appropriately.....events of dark ages repeating itself in this 21st century,really bad
