In remembrance of the victims of June 3rd,2012 plane crash,the FG is set to unveil a monument in their honour tomorrow.This is to mark one year remembrance of the pathetic and tragic event in which over 157 people lost their lives.
According to Yakubu Dati,a spokesman of Aviation parastals,the industry will also institute a safety week which will be observed from June 3rd,2012 and this will be done every year in honour of Dana Air victims.
There will aso be a memorial church service which will be presided over by the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese,Most Rev. Matthew Kukah, Minister of Aviation as the chief host and the climax of the event will be unveiling of the monument. Dati said "The ministry of Aviation has initiated a programme which is designed to provide additional compensation in case of future occurrence of air accident in the country and this is in the addition to the plan to set up airlines operators insurance compensation."
