GOV OBI,AND OTHERS ESCAPE AIR MISHAP.

Gov Obi of Anambra State and Delta State majority leader Chief Igbuya and some other Nigerians escaped an air mishap yesterday by Arik pilot of flght W3788 conveying over 700 passenper from Lagos to Asaba.
The flight was scheduled to take off at 8:30am but was delayed in Lagos due to bad weather.After the passengers boarded the plane,they were asked to go back to the departure lounge as the plane could not fly due to what the pilot described as "terribly bad weather" at Asaba.
After the weather report showed some improvement at about 3 hours later,the passengers boarded the plane again while some cancelled their trips believing God is warning them against travelling due to unseen disastrous event.On getting to Asaba the weather became bad again,thereby crippling landing,the pilot who did not want to "try luck" immediately returned to Lagos,yet on reaching Lagos again,the weather at Lagos was more horrible than that of Asaba.The plane had to circle around for hours in the sky before it finally touched ground by 4.45pm amidst signs of relief,clapping and jubilation.The pilot,Captain Sandy Miller merely told passenger to thank their God for his mercies when they get home. Speaking to news reporters at the domestic wing of Murtala Mohammed Airport,Gov Obi who travelled to South Africa on Sunday and came back on Tuesday said he was determined to make the flight to Asaba en route Awka because he did not like staying outside Awka more days than necessary.On whether frightened by the experience,Gov Obi said that nothing again should be frightening to a person that governs a state like Anambra.Moreover he said,he was at peace with his God and fellow human beings and had nothing to worry about.
