DON'T GIVE UP,KEEP PROTESTING -Lawyer Tells UniAbuja Students.

The on-going protest by the University of Abuja students received a boost as a legal practictioner,Barrister Malachy Ugwumadu called on the students to sustain the protest until their demands are met. Students in the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine, Engineering and Medicine are currently protesting the non-accreditation of their courses and are also demanding a compensation of N10 million naira each and transfer to another school.
Barr. Ugwumadu while discussing the issues surrounding the University of Abuja on Channels Tv's breakfast programme Sunrise Daily said that the whole brouhaha reeked "of corruption" and advised the students never to relent.
He said "I think that the cause of this crisis is the question of corruption." He also advised the students that transfer to other schools is not the best option in a time like this. Ugwumadu also called on the Commissioner of Police to advise the students on how best to get the attention of the presidency. Meanwhile,the school Vice Chancellor,Prof. James Adelabu said the issue of accreditation of medical programme is almost complete.
