GOV. FASHOLA SIGNS CREMATION BILL INTO LAW.

Lagos State governor, Raji Babatunde Fashola on Monday June 10,2013 signed a cremation bill into law. This law gives power to state authority to burn unclaimed corpses in its mortuaries after a period of time. The bill also states that the State Government will get rid off the ashes if after 14 days it was burnt the owners still fail to come and claim the ashes. The disposal of the ashes by the State Govt however is subject to the approval of the Commissioner for health.
This new law, also gives Lagosians the right to burn their dead ones if they so desire. <<>> IN A TIME WHEN MAUSOLEUM ARE BEEN BUILT FOR SOME DEAD BODIES,other bodies are been burnt, this shows that even unto death all fingers are not yet equal. This is ANTI-AFRICAN, dead bodies are meant to be respected and buried with dignity not like some foreign countries do. Human beings should be accorded with respects even unto death,as the only image in the likeness of God not as lower animals. Why not give them mass burial instead of burning? Why burning?
