Crisis In Bokoharam Camp

An internal crisis has broken out within the camp of Boko haram as Mohammed Marwam, the second in command to Abubakar Shekau has dared the authority of his boss over a cease fire agreement and dialogue with the Federal Government.
Marwam announced last week that the sect reached an agreement with the Presidential Committee on Dialogue and Peaceful Resolution of security challenges in the North on a cease fire of Boko haram. But a statement by Shekau few days later denounced the agreement,Shekau claimed he is solely incharge and should be the one to be consulted for a cease fire talk.
However,Marwam while speaking to Voice of America,(VOA) Hausa Service, accused Shekau of being a clog in the wheel of peace in the country and called on Nigerians to pray. Marwam also said he and other members of the sect would abandon Shekau who he claimed to be an interim leader if he refuses to agree to the cease fire. Marwam said,"Between us who are praying for peace and him who prays for violence,we are going to see whose prayer will be answered. Everybody is not happy, let him come out and let us see if it's possible for him to do that".
